Chef Jacob Zachow brings his artistic culinary expertise to Della Terra Restaurant at Avant, downtown Buffalo’s newest landmark building. Chef Jake decided early on to pursue a career in culinary arts and captured the necessary skills of the kitchen line, banquet management, and administration at the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, New York. By using the freshest ingredients possible and cooking them to perfection, Chef Jake “keeps it simple and makes it great.”
Chef Jake brings a wealth of expertise in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine to Della Terra where he has crafted an inviting and seasonal menu to complement its relaxed and intimate setting. Delectable specials, aromatic pastas, gazpacho recipes, and specialties such as his homemade desserts and dressings are becoming Buffalo hits. Each of his savoring dishes and desserts are made with the freshest ingredients to complement the natural tastes of Tuscany.
