Chef Richard Benz and wife Jenny re-located their New Orleans bistro to Grand Island after Hurricane Katrina. Dick & Jenny's is still in New Orleans on Tchoupitoulas Uptown and run by their former employees. Oysters on the half shell, fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, and New Orleans specialties grace the menus that change seasonally.
Dinner hours feature Dick's Tasting Sensation Menu - three courses paired with wines. Beautiful dinner specials are offered every night, and the Tasting Menu changes with the specials. Jenny hand-picks all the wines on the diverse list.
Every Thursday night, Don Burns, Ragtime piano player extraordinaire performs. The fun begins at 6:30PM and goes until 9:30PM. Breakfast is served from 8:00AM - 2:00PM. Homemade corned beef hash, buttermilk pancakes, and eggs benedict are a few of the favorites. The in-house bakers make fresh scones, danishes, and muffins as well as Dick & Jenny's desserts.
